Our puppies have to be at least 8 weeks old before they can leave our facility. ย Ifย you are interested in a corgi, we invite you to look at what we have available and fall in love with the corgi breed. ย If we don't currently have what you are looking for, we can put you on a waiting list for an upcoming litter.ย

About the โ€œRoyalโ€ Breed

Corgis are also highly intelligent, ranking among the top breeds for trainability. They learn quickly and enjoy mental challenges, making training sessions fun and rewarding. Their energetic nature means they love regular activity, and their small size makes them manageable for apartment living.

One of the most endearing traits of Corgis is their appearance. Their short legs, long bodies, and expressive faces make them irresistibly cute. Despite their small stature, they have big personalities and are known for their goofy, playful behavior, which can bring a lot of joy to a household.

Overall, Corgis are adaptable, intelligent, and affectionate, making them ideal pets for a wide range of families and living situations. With their charm and energy, they quickly become beloved members of any home.

Corgis became the royal breed largely due to Queen Elizabeth IIโ€™s lifelong love for them. The British royal familyโ€™s connection with corgis began in 1933, when King George VI, then Duke of York, brought home a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Dookie. The young Princess Elizabeth and her sister Margaret fell in love with the breed, and this started a long tradition of corgis in the royal household.

In 1944, for her 18th birthday, Princess Elizabeth received her own Corgi named Susan, who became the foundation of her personal Corgi breeding line. Over the years, Queen Elizabeth II is said to have owned more than 30 corgis, many of them direct descendants of Susan. The queenโ€™s affection for the breed played a major role in popularizing Corgis worldwide.

Corgisโ€™ characteristics also made them a perfect fit for the royal lifestyle. They are loyal, affectionate, and relatively low-maintenance, which suited the busy royal household. Their herding instincts and high intelligence made them alert companions, and their small size allowed them to move freely in the palace, becoming cherished members of the royal family.

The queenโ€™s deep attachment to her Corgis cemented their status as the quintessential royal breed.
